How does igneous rock become sedimentary rock?

Biology
1 answer:
Zinaida [17]3 years ago
3 0

Explanation:

Igneous rock can form underground, where the magma cools slowly. Or, igneous rock can form above ground, where the magma cools quickly. When it pours out on Earth's surface, magma is called lava. In this way, igneous rock can become sedimentary rock.

Any rock (igneous, sedimentary, or metamorphic) can become a metamorphic rock. If rocks are buried deep in the Earth at high temperatures and pressures, they form new minerals and textures all without melting. If melting occurs, magma is formed, starting the rock cycle all over again.

How do earthquakes and volcanos affect the rate of weathering and erosion? Explain?
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Earthquakes generally increase the rate of weathering and erosion because the energy transmitted through rocks, especially, shear waves (secondary waves) will break rocks. Volcanos emit gases such as carbon dioxide and sulfur that will cause acidic precipitation. This acidic precipitation will dissolve some elements in the rocks hence weakening them and increasing the rate of erosion.

wel

Answer:

Transcription factors.

Explanation:

Transcription and translation are the two important process involved in the gene expression of a particular protein. Transcription is the formation of RNA and translation is the formation of proteins.

Transcription requires different enzymes and transcription factors. Transcription factors are important factors that regulates the expression of transcription and may increase or decrease the process of transcription. Here, the protein that binds with dioxin acts as the transcription factors as it regulates the gene expression.

Thus, the correct answer is option (3).
