Normallly you don't tip on the tax nor do you tax on tip
find 20% and 5% of 19.75
find 20% of 19.75 and add to 5% of 19.75
hmm, we can undistribute
19.75(20%+5%)
19.75(25%
find 25% of 19.75
25% of 19.75=0.25 times 19.75=4.9375
add that to 19.75
4.9375+19.75=24.6875
round
price to pay for lunch is $24.69

Please help out and if you know help me show work ??
Ghella [55]

Answer:  14

Step-by-step explanation:

Consecutive even numbers would be {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, ...}

Let x represent the smallest number, then x + 2 is the middle number and x + 4 is the largest number.

1st number: x

2nd number: x + 2

3rd number: x + 4

1st number + 2nd number + 3rd number = Sum

      (x)        +      (x + 2)       +      (x + 4)      =  48

                                                      3x + 6   =  48

                                                      3x          = 42

                                                        x           = 14

1st number: x           ⇒ x = 14

2nd number: x + 2   ⇒ 14 + 2 = 16

3rd number: x + 4    ⇒ 14 + 4 = 18

Check:

14 + 16 + 18 = 48 \checkmark

A rectangle has vertices a(1,2), B(1,7), c(4,7), d(4,2). what is the perimiter of the rectangle
aliina [53]

Answer:

16

Step-by-step explanation:

You see, if you were to plot these points, (1, 2) and (1, 7) would be 5 points away from each other. If you were to plot the points (4, 2) and (4, 7) those points would also be 5 points away from each other. Now, (1, 2) and (4, 2) are 3 points apart as well as (1, 7) and (4, 7). Therefore, 5 + 5 = 10, 3 + 3 = 6, and finally, 10 + 6 = 16!
