First subtract the number of pages you have extra which is 14
260 - 14 =246
Next, because Samantha has 3x more pages you have to divide by 3
(doing opposite of what was done)
246/3 = 82
Final you get your answer of 82 pages in Lisa's notebook

Is the sequence geometric or arithmetic?6,18,54...
serious [3.7K]

Answer:

geometric sequence

Step-by-step explanation:

The consecutive terms of an arithmetic sequence have a common difference d between them.

18 - 6 = 12

54 - 18 = 36

There is no common difference, thus not arithmetic

The consecutive terms of a geometric sequence have a common ratio r between them.

18 ÷ 6 = 3

54 ÷ 18 = 3

There is a common ratio, thus sequence is geometric
