I like school because it help us children learn. Without school I honestly think we will be like the cave men carving on rocks. Our education is very important because to become anything in the world we have to have a certain education level to get that certain career I want in life , so I love school. I learn something new almost every day. <span>

Which excerpt from O’Connor’s "Good Country People" contains an example of irony? Joy was her daughter, a blonde girl who had an
VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

"Nothing is perfect. This was one of Mrs. Hopewell's favorite sayings. Another was: that is life! And still another, the most important, was: well, other people have their opinions too. "

Explanation:

Irony is a literary device used when a character, or even the narration, says the opposite of what I really believe and think. An example of this can be seen in the text shown in the question above, in the lines "Nothing is perfect. This was one of Mrs. Hopewell's favorite sayings. Another was: that is life! And still another, the most important, was: well, other people have their opinions too. "

These lines were spoken by Ms. Hopewell, this is because she says that her daughter should not care what people say or think about the mechanical leg she uses, however Ms. Hopewell herself feels sorry for her daughter and ended up saying something contrary to what I really wanted to say.

What is the theme of The Pardoner Tale
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

Hope this helps!

Explanation:

To expand on the theme "greed is the root of all evil," the Pardoner preaches a fable about three drunk young degenerates who set out to kill Death and end up meeting their own demise as a result of—you guessed it—greed. But the Tale doesn't paint death as completely evil.
