The Musculoskeletal System is an organ system that enables us to move our muscles and bones. This organ system supports our body and allows motion, as well as protect our vital organs. Overall wellness contributes to the health of this organ system as well, and our lifestyle directly impacts this system. Having a clear understanding of body positions, directions and planes can be utilized to ensure that we don't damage our muscles or bones due to negligence. We can also use this information to aim for a healthier lifestyle to make our musculoskeletal system stronger.
