In this question we have to use the formula:

Substituting the values of the intercepted arcs in the formula, we will get

And angles 1 and 2 are linear pair.
So we will get

Substituting the value of angle 1, we will get

<1 = 1/2(53+47) = 1/2(100) = 50
<2 = 1/2(360 - 53 - 47) = 1/2(260) = 130
