Anna should have an amniocentesis, also called amniotic fluid test or (AFT). This will show if there are any infection, genetic disorders or chromosome abnormalities.

Amniocentesis. During this procedure, a long syringe is carefully inserted through the woman's stomach into the amniotic sac and withdraws some amniotic fluid. Various tests can be run on this fluid to determine what abnormalities the baby may have. The rest of the terms are rather important to know anyway so I will define them for you.
A pap smear is done on any woman annually to screen for cervical cancer.
A colonoscopy is done on people over 50 typically (and every 10 years after is normal) to screen for colon cancer and polyps, among other things.
Cesarean surgery is a C-section, which is a surgery to extract a baby if natural child birth is too risky and/or the baby is in distress. Basically, it's an emergency surgery for when the baby needs to come out NOW for both the safety of baby and mom.

Answer:

The doctor would say that she is experiencing , Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, or ARDS for short, refers to a type of lung damage that can result from a variety of causes, including illness, trauma, or even as a complication that occurs following certain medical procedures. ARDS is a dangerous, potentially fatal respiratory condition in which the lungs sustain a serious, widespread injury that diminishes their ability to provide the body’s organs with enough oxygen. The condition causes fluid to accumulate in the lungs, which in turn reduces blood oxygen to dangerously low levels. ARDS is a medical emergency.

Which of the following is part of the peripheral nervous system?
rosijanka [135]
There are many parts of the peripheral nervous system, but options are not listed below.

I will use my best prediction using deductive reasoning to proves which is part of the PNS - peripheral nervous system.

The peripheral nervous system is defined as a bundle of neurons, that is neither the brain or spine (which is in the CNS - central nervous system)

As you may know the PNS, is broken down into two pieces.

The autonomic and somatic nervous system.

The autonomic nervous system as you may know is the part of the PNS, that controls involuntary activities. e.x breathing, heartrate, blood pressure, temperature, etc.

The somatic nervous system on the other hand is voluntary, and is associated with the feelings of the body. (heat, cold, touch, smell)
