Volleyball refers to a team sport comprising of two teams of six players each on both sides of the court. These two (2) teams are separated by a horizontal net and are required by rules to bat the ball using their bare hands without letting it hit or touch the floor. Also, this team sport was invented in 1895 by Williams G. Morgan at the YMCA gymnasium of Holyoke, Massachusetts, United States of America.
In the game of volleyball, whenever a ball is not returned properly into the opponent's court, a point is scored by the serving team and this is called rally scoring. For a team to be adjudged victorious, it must win a set by at least two (2) points and three (3) out of five (5) sets.
