Answer:

"demographic shift"

Explanation:

According to my research the changes in the age makeup of the population as shown in the question are referred to as a "demographic shift". This phenomenon of theory as some may call it is when the demographic goes from a population with high birth rates and high infant death rates to a population of low birth rates and low death rates. Leading to statistics like those shown in the question.

Why did the soviets not allow people to leave occupied East Germany
kolezko [41]
Its been a while since I did this topic, but I believe it was mostly because under communism there was little work for intellectuals, so they were often the ones who left the country. This resulted in a 'brain drain', a lack of knowledgable people. I seem to remember reading about the entire maths department of a university just up and leaving at one point. You could also argue that it was damaging for the image of communism if so many people were trying to leave.

Flax plant a capital good, natural good, or human good
mina [271]

Answer: Natural Good

Explanation: It is something that comes from nature making it a natural good. It would not be a capital good because capital goods are products created by people. And it would not be a human good because human goods are jobs and services that are done by people.

slamgirl [31]

Answer:

Allow Sally to use the dictionary.

Explanation:

As Sally is at a disadvantage in comparison with her classmates, the instructor should allow her to use the dictionary during the test to have the same opportunities as the rest of the class. In this case, the ethical principle of justice is treating Sally differently from the rest to give her equality and have a fair test.
