Answer:

It does. - True.

Explanation:

The changes in species change species themselves, which creates diversity. If evolution didn't happen, diversity would be null - only one species of each animal. One type of beetle, one type of cow, one type of bee, one type of ant, one type of spider. If these animals never change, they either go extinct for lack of adaptation or they just remain like that, and diversity isn't affected.

But, if animals do change, then the opposite occurs, new species start originating in different parts of the world, increasing local and worldwide biodiversity.

Hope it helped,

Down syndrome, the most common genetic condition in the United States, is also called trisomy 21. What does this mean?
77julia77 [94]

Trisomy=3 chromosomes; 1 more than the required pair (2)

21=the type of chromosome

So, here we can eliminate A and B.

Now we have C and D.

I know that when sperm cell(s) simultaneously fertilize [an] egg, a class of identical twins will form. Therefore, we can eliminate D, leaving us with merely C. Henceforth, C is your final answer.

A scientific question can be described as a question which can be answered through the scientific method of research. Based on the scientific question, a hypothesis can be formulated. For example, for the option D, the hypothesis can be 'if the pollution increases, then the number of frogs decreases.' A hypothesis is a tentative statement which can be tested through experiments.
