Questions like this just mean: was your answer (what you thought the experiment would turn out as) the same as the actual end result of the experiment? If it was the same, yes.

For example:
I say “the water will turn green”
If the experiment makes the water turn green, I was right and I answer yes.

Explain Boyle's pressure-volume relationship in terms of the kinetic-
molecular theory.
.
TiliK225 [7]

Answer:

The pressure and the volume are inversely related in Boyle's Law. In Kinetic theory pressure is created by the collision of particles. If the volume is greater the number of collisions and pressure will be less. So volume and pressure are inversely related if the temperature and total kinetic energy is kept constant.

How much nano3 is needed to prepare 225 ml of a 1.55 m solution of nano3?
andrezito [222]

Answer:

= 29.64 g  NaNO3

Explanation:

Molarity is given by the formula;

Molarity = Moles/Volume in liters

Therefore;

Number of moles = Molarity × Volume in liters

                             = 1.55 M × 0.225 L

                             = 0.34875 moles NaNO3

Thus; 0.34875 moles of NaNO3 is needed equivalent to;

   = 0.34875 moles × 84.99 g/mol

   = 29.64 g

The first step in the formation of all three products is the loss of the ots leaving group to give a carbocation intermediate. t
lina2011 [118]

The carbocation stabilized by resonance structure and thereby lowers the energy of the carbocation, hydrogen will add to the carbon in the double bond that produces delocalization of electrons.

What is carbocation?

A carbocation is a molecule in which a carbon atom has a positive charge and three bonds.

In general, electrons are stabilized by delocalization. The stabilization energy engendered by delocalization over more than two atoms is called the resonance stabilization energy or simply the resonance energy. The greater the extent of electron delocalization the greater the resonance stabilization.
