Answer:

The balance of uncollectible accounts after the adjustment will be $15,000

Explanation:

On December 31, the balance of the accounts receivable is $300,000 and on same data it is suggested that the 5% of the account receivable will be not be collected.

So, the balance of the uncollectible accounts will be computed as:

Uncollectible accounts = Account receivable balance × % which will not collected

where

Account receivable balance is $300,000

% which will not be collected is 5%

Putting the values above:

= $300,000 × 5%

= $15,000

NOTE: The allowance for uncollectible accounts of $1,000, already credited, so will not be considered again.

Answer:

Depreciation expense = $13,130

Book value = $46,740

Explanation:

Depreciation is a method of expensing the cost of an asset.

Depreciation expense using the straight line method = (Cost of asset - salvage value) / useful life

Book value = Cost of asset - Depreciation expense

In December 2021, the book value would be = $73,000 - $13,130 = $59,870

IrinaK [193]

Answer:

The answer is: $150,000

Explanation:

The GDP includes all the final, finished and legal products produced in the country during a year.

The apples sold directly by the farmer to individual consumers and the apples the grocery store sells to households are both going to be included in the GDP.

The only apples not included in the GDP are the once sold to the company that produces apple juice, since they are intermediate goods and not finished goods.
