AC= 6

This is a special right triangle with angles 30 60 and 90 degrees. There are special rules that allow you to figure out the side measurements when you only know one side!

Here, we know the measurement of the hypotenuse. Therefore, if we divide the hypotenuse by 2, we can get the measurement of the shorter leg.

4sqrt3 / 2 = 2sqrt 3

And now since we now the length of the shorter leg, we can take that measurement and multiply it by sqrt3 to get the measurement of the longer leg!

2sqrt3 x sqrt3 = 2sqrt9

The sqrt of 9 is 3 so we now have 2(3), which equals 6

X= 6

Suppose a normal distribution has a mean of 79 and a standard deviation of 7. What is P(x< or = to 72)?
enot [183]

Answer:

P( Z <= -1) = 0.1587

Step-by-step explanation:

ok, mean u = 79

s = 7

find  P( x <=  72)

P( (x - 79)/7  <=   (72 - 79)/7 )  = ?

P( Z <= -1) = 0.1587   from Z-scores table

Match each equivalent expression with the property that it represents.
OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

Associative Property of Multiplication

[ 3(5) (4) = (3) 5(4)]

Identity Property of Multiplication

5(1) = 5

Identity Property of Addition

(3 + 5) + 0 = (3+5)

Commutative Property of Addition

3 + 5 = 5 + 3

Associative Property of Addition

3 + (5 + 7) = (3 + 5) + 7

Step-by-step explanation:

The associative property states that you can re-group numbers and you will get the same answer and the commutative property states that you can move numbers around and still arrive at the same answer.

The identity property of 1 says that any number multiplied by 1 keeps its identity.

Hoped this helped!
