ALOT OF POINTS FOR ANYONE WILLING TO DO THIS FOR ME!!!!!!! For the chapter project, we're going to have you suppose that you hav

e decided to become a physical therapist and are investigating all the different requirements of your chosen college and your state licensing board. You will submit your findings in a written report. The exact format of the report is up to you. It could be an essay, chronological list of steps, or bulleted paragraphs. For this report, you'll need to choose a college and the state in which you will practice. You do not need to be sure that this is the college you will attend or that this is the state in which you will practice. Follow the directions carefully. The report should contain the following information: Provide the name, location and Web site of the college of your choice. For example, the Program in Physical Therapy at the University of Minnesota is in Minneapolis, MN, and its Web site is at: http://www.physther.umn.edu. Specify which type of degree you plan to pursue (doctorate or master's). Report on the admissions standards (including minimum GPA), prerequisite coursework, and entrance testing requirements of your college's physical therapy program for the degree you plan to pursue. Does your college list requirements for letters of recommendations, transcripts, or advanced placement or distance learning courses? List them, too. How many of these requirements have you already fulfilled? How many would you need to fulfill, and how long will it take you to do this? List the requirements for graduation from your college's degree program of choice. What are the advantages of completing a fellowship or residency in a subspecialty? Summarize your college's clinical residency and fellowship programs. Visit the Web site for your state board of physical therapy. For example, the Web site for the Minnesota State Board of Physical Therapy is at: http://www.physicaltherapy.state.mn.us. Read about and summarize the requirements for new graduates applying for a license.
