Angle of rotational symmetry is the angle one can turn a figure and the figure appears unchanged. (learner.org)

Also, any multiple of the least angle of rotational symmetry is also an angle of rotational symmetry.  Thus, 40 and 80 are automatically angles of rotational symmetry if 20 is one.

So the regular polygon must have at least 360/20=18 sides.
note: 36, 54,... sides will also work.  The questions appears to mean to ask for the minimum number of sides of the polygon.

Answer:  The polygon has 18 sides.

Step-by-step explanation:  Given that a regular polygon has possible angles of rotational symmetry of 20°, 40°, and 80°.

We are to find the number of sides of the polygon.

Let α be the smallest angle of rotational symmetry of the regular polygon.

Then,

\alpha=gcd(20^\circ,40^\circ,80^\circ)=20^\circ.

Therefore, the total number of sides of the polygon will be

n=\dfrac{360^\circ}{20^\circ}=18.

Thus, the number of sides of the polygon is 18.

Artemon [7]
Billy would have of scored a total of 40 points because then you split 90 in half you get 40 50 and then 50 is 10 more than 40 and logan scored 10 more so here is your answer

A circle with radius of 5cm sits inside a 11cm by 11cm rectangle
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

OK, wonderful.  It should be very comfortable in there, since it's so small and fits so easily.

The circle can be placed completely inside the rectangle, in positions where it touches one side, two sides, or no sides.  It's too small to touch thee sides or four sides all at the same time.

Do you have some kind of question to ask regarding the situation ?

Lennie wants to decorate a gift box with ribbon. She measures five pieces that she has with a ruler. They are 31.2 cm, 25.62 cm,
Naily [24]

Answer:

Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

Add up the lengths of the five pieces: 31.2 + 25.62 + 28.7 + 31.0 + 42.06 = 158.58. 158.58 is the total length and is larger than 150, so, yes there is enough ribbon.
