About 1520 BCE, the Egyptians took control of these southern lands, called Kush. As Egypt's control over the area weakened, the Kingdom of Kush was established about 1070 BCE. Around mid 1000s BC they took back control. They conquered Egypt in 700s.

What are at least two of the major legacies (things that people remember) about the Chaldeans? Its for a CRQ
Elenna [48]

Answer:

The Chaldeans were a Semitic-speaking tribe who were known for their cunning, diplomacy and wisdom and they were not known for military might, because they kept moving from place to place, before they migrated and settled in Mesopotamia before they were conquered by the powerful Assyrians.

King Nebuchadnezzar who ruled Babylon between 605c till 561bce was a Chaldean and was a powerful king, infact, he was the greatest and most popular of all Kings who were of the Chaldean tribe.

The Chaldeans were widely known for astrology, diplomacy, strategy, and witchcraft.

2 Points<br> What was true of the Radical Republicans' plan for the South?
exis [7]

Answer:

Unlike President Andrew Johnson (a former Senator from Tennessee), the Radical Republicans wished to treat the South as a conquered territory and thus divide it into military districts. Rather than allowing the hostile states to seamlessly reenter into the American body politic, Radical Republicans wanted to grant Congress the power to dictate terms of reentry and impose certain laws on the region as forms of punishment for the continuous use of slavery and for waging war against the Union.
