He died on 27th November in the year of 2008.He was the Prime Minister of India from 1989 to 1990. V.P.Singh was known for his honesty and was never fearful of losing his office for the sake of protecting the truth. He became the Member of the Legislative assembly of Uttar Pradesh in the year 1969. He was a member of the Indian National Congress at that time.
