In the ad, it’s showing how social and happy the group of teens are. And since the audience (us) want to feel this way, when we see that the focus of their happiness in their gathering is on the Coca Cola, we become attracted to the product, as they’re advertising the fact that their product can make its consumer feel good.

Hope this helps! There are many different interpretations for ads so this is just one point of view.
