3/2 (x-2) = 15

1. Multiply 3/2 by (x-2).
3(x-2)/2 = 15 :

3x-6/7 = 15

2. Multiply 7 by both sides and canceling out the denominator on the left side.
7 (3x-6)/7 = 7(15):

3x-6 = 105

3. Subtract six from both sides.
3x-6 +6 = 105 + 6:

3x = 111

4. Divide 3 into both sides.
3x/3 = 111/3

X = 37.

Check:

1. Fill in x with your final answer.
3/7 (37-2) = 15:

3/7 (35) = 15

2. Multiply 3/7 by 35.
3/7(35) = 15:

3 (5) = 15

15 = 15

Answer:

It's number one.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because all the other answers are opinions, like the most attractive color one. Everyone has a different favorite color. But number one is something that can be proved. That's what you're looking for in the scientific method.
