5. Nowadays, capitals of a country usually are cosmopolitan, since they offer more variety and opportunities (job, educational and entertainment-related). They tend to be more culturally diverse. Some examples of cosmopolitan cities are Buenos Aires, Toronto, Sydney, Amsterdam, Paris, etc.

6. Relating to or involving ships, shipping or trade related to the sea. Ex: Maritime laws, maritime province, etc.
