Explanation:

Trachea is also known as wind pipe. It acts as passage for air that enters through nasal cavity and migrates to the lungs. The trachea is made up of tracheal rings. This provides flexibility to the wind pipe. The trachea divides into two bronchi that enters the left and right lungs.It has a covering called epiglottis that prevents entry of food while swallowing.
