Answer: freezing

Freezing is defined as the process through which a substance changes its from from a liquid to a solid. As the liquid lava in the example has lost its thermal energy and thus has hardened, the phase change through which it has undergone is freezing. All liquids with the exception of helium undergo freezing then the average energy of the molecules decreases.

Solidification is another term often used to describe this phenomenon. However, it is much more general and can occur due to other factors such as reactions between different chemicals.

In the course of a short race, a car does 50,000 J of work in 7 s. What is the power of the car during the race?
pickupchik [31]
Work done is the product of distance and force, it is measured in joules.
Power is the rate of work done given by dividing the work done by time
Power (watts)= workdone (J)/ time (s)
                      = 50,000J/7 sec
                      = 7142.857 watts
Therefore, the power of the car during the race was 7142.857 watts

Why do animal cell burst in pure water
cestrela7 [59]

Answer

The water makes the cell expand

Explanation:

When we put animal cells into pure, fresh water (H2O) , water enters the cells as a result of osmosis, and making the cell expand. ... Since animal cells do not have a cell wall, when too much of this water enters to make the concentration of water on both sides even, the animal cell may eventually burst, and die out
