To me: given that the juice is sugar free means that I can ignore the 3 sugar apple juices and the 10 sugr grape juices.

Therefore the field of drinks is 14 sugar free drinks and the changes that it is apple juice, is 9:14 or 9/14.

If, on the other hand, the problem is saying that the juice must be sugar free and also apple, that would be 9/27 or 1/3

Answer:

D) 9/14

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 9 + 5 = 14 sugar free juices in the cooler. 9 of those are apple juice. Therefore, the conditional probability of getting apple juice given that the juice is sugar free is  9/14

The accounting department analyzes the variance of the weekly unit costs reported by two production departments. A sample of 16
Sergio [31]

Answer:

We can conclude that the result is significant and production differ in cost variance.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

n1 = 16

n2 = 16

s1² = 5.7

s2² = 2.8

α = 0.10

H0 : σ1² = σ2²

H1 : σ1² ≠ σ2²

The test statistic :

Ftest = s1² / s2² =

Ftest = 5.7 / 2.8

Ftest = 2.036

Using the Pvalue from Fratio calculator :

df numerator = 16 - 1 = 15

df denominator = 16 - 1 = 15

Pvalue(2.036, 15, 15) = 0.0898

Pvalue = 0.0898

Since the Pvalue is < α ; We can conclude that the result is significant and production differ in cost variance.

Amelia is getting a new rug put in her room that she picked out at Home Depot. Her room is 8.5 feet wide and 12.3 feet long. If
Kipish [7]

Answer:

$355.47 cents.

Step-by-step explanation

since you want to find the square footage of the entire room, hence Home Depot costs $3.40 per square foot, you would clearly need to find the area.  Basically find what 8.5 * 12.3 is and then multiply that number by 3.40. Once that is done, put a dollar sign on the answer and BOOM, you got it. :)

so $355.47 cents.
