A student sets up a controlled experiment to test the effect of a fertilizer on plant growth. They use 2 tomato plants, one is g

iven 1 cup of water every day, 1 cup of fertilizer every week and daily sun and constant temperature. The second plant is given ½ cup of water every day, no fertilizer and sun every other day and constant temperature. Using your knowledge of the Scientific method why is this not a good experimental design?
1,The second plant should also be given some fertilizer.
2.The second plant had different controls and so it cannot be compared for just the effect of fertilizer
3.The second plant should have a change in temperature.
4.The second plant should not have that much water every day.

<em>First, the gene that makes insulin is cut from human cells. After having the insulin gene, the scientist will put it inside bacteria so the bacteria will produce human insulin. This was called gene splicing. </em>

<em>Then the bacteria have insulin genes, the bacteria will be cloned to make multiple colonies of same bacteria. This phase called cloning. </em>
