The guy above is correct

Proof :

2(x + 2)^{2}  - 15x - 3 \\ 2((x + 2)(x + 2) - 15x - 3 \\ 2( {x}^{2}  + 4x + 4) - 15x - 3

2 {x}^{2}  + 8x - 15x + 8 - 3  \\  2 {x}^{2}  - 7x + 5

natima [27]

Answer:

Slope=-1.8, X=-0.5, y=1.9

Equation is y^2-y^1=m(x^2-x^1).

Y-1.9=-1.8(X-(-0.5))

Y-1.9=-1.8x+0.90

Add 1.9 on both sides.

Y= -1.8x+1.

Jerry is making 2 kinds of cakes. One needs 18/20 cup of flour and the other needs 3/8. Estimate how much flour he needs
zvonat [6]

bearing in mind that the LCD in this case for those two denominators is 40, so let's use that for the sum

\bf \cfrac{18}{20}+\cfrac{3}{8}\implies \stackrel{\textit{using the LCD of 40}}{\cfrac{(2)18+(5)3}{40}}\implies \cfrac{36+15}{40}\implies \cfrac{51}{40}\implies 1\frac{11}{40}
