The motivation theories were divided in two groups, the <em>¨content theories¨ </em>(focused on WHAT to do to motivate) and the<em> ¨process theories¨ </em>(focused on HOW to motivate), for the first group there are different authors who contributed in a exponential way in the development of these theories, for example Alderfer with his ERG Theory: <em>¨Existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs¨</em>, and McClelland with his theory of needs: <em>need of achievement, affiliation and power.</em>

Some authors in the other options also contributed for the content theories, however, others were focused in the process ones as well, the B) is the only one with two authors with content theories.
