I am a circulating cell involved in ige type allergic reactions. i am a mediator of allergic reactions because i can release gra
777dan777 [17]

Answer:

I am a basophil.

Further information:

Basophil:

Basophils are a type of white blood cell. Basophils are the smallest common of the granulocytes, representing about 0.5 to 1% of circulating white blood cells. Yet, they are the major type of granulocyte.

Function of basophil:

They are accountable for inflammatory reactions during immune response, as well as in the development of acute and chronic allergic diseases, including anaphylaxis, asthma, atopic dermatitis and hay fever. They also yield compounds those co-ordinate immune responses, including histamine and serotonin that induce inflammation, heparin that stops blood clotting, although there are less than that found in mast cell granules.

Basophils may present in many specific types of inflammatory reactions, specially those that cause allergic symptoms. Basophils have anticoagulant heparin, which prevents blood from clotting too rapidly. They also have the vasodilator histamine, which promotes blood flow to tissues.

Structure of Basophil:

Basophils comprise large cytoplasmic granules which vague the cell nucleus under the microscope when stained. However, when unspotted, the nucleus is visible and it usually has two lobes. The Mast cell which is another granulocyte has very like in appearance and function. Both cell types store histamine, a chemical that is secreted by the cells when inspired. However, they arise from different branches of hematopoiesis, and mast cells usually do not circulate in the blood stream, but instead are located in connective tissue. Similar to all circulating granulocytes, basophils can be carried out of the blood into a tissue when we need it.

Frog lungs are poorly developed. How does this relate to skin being thin and moist
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:

Frogs can breathe through their skin thus it is this to allow for easy diffusion of oxygen

Explanation:

Frogs are able to breathe through their skin due to which its skin is thin and moist.

They can absorb oxygen from water even during hibernation period. The skin is extremely thin and is made up of thin membranous tissue which is permeable to the both water and air. The skin also comprises of blood vessels that allows diffusion of oxygen from water into the blood vessels.

Therefore, even if the lungs are poorly developed, frogs being amphibians can survive beneath the water. The presence of mucus glands make the skin looks wet all the time

Answer:

Bread mold is an example of Zygomycota phyla of the fungi.

Explanation:

Zygomycota is known as conjugated fungi including molds, for example which invading breads and other food products. Identify character of Zygomycota are during sexual reproduction formation of zygospores, and the lack of hyphal cell walls except in reproductive structures.

The classification of the fungi is based on the sexual reproductive structures.

Zygomycota reproduces by two methods sexually with diploid spores known as zygospores and asexually with sporangiophore. Black bread molds, for example Rhizopus stolonifer is common known species of this phylum. Member of this phylum can cause food spoilage includes Mucor, Rhizomucor, or Rhizopus and diseases.
