Answer:

C. Write whatever your thoughts are in no particular order.

Explanation:

Free- writing is the manner or form of writing where the writer or author is free to write whatever he/ she wants. The topic, pattern, or anything related t the work is all dependent on the author and is not dictated by any form of guidelines or set of rules to be followed. The freedom to write his thoughts, in whatever pattern and order he wants, and even maybe dealing with personal or fictional stories, are all part of what the free writing entails. The very word "free writing" is proof of the form of writing that it is about. Everything is all up to the one who is to write the work, with no form or rule to be followed or adopted.

Answer:

C. write whatever your thoughts are in no particular order.

Explanation:

As the name suggests, Free-writing a a form of writing in which a writer can write his thoughts freely, without paying much thoughts on grammatical rules, or the format. In this form of writing, a writer is free to create whatever comes to his mind.

The exponent of Free-writing Technique is "Dorothea Brande". In her book she suggest "to be a writer" to start writing for 30 min, every morning without stopping. "Peter Elbow" further developed this technique in 1973. According to him, in order to improve writing skills, one must practice Free-writing daily for at-least three times a week. The idea of free-writing is to write without stopping.

Further Explanation:

1. Benefits of Free-writing:

It helps in brainstorming ideas for the topic.

If one is unsure of the topic, free-writing can help in narrowing down the topic also.

For this, all you need is a pen and a paper or journal. Then start with any topic that comes to your mind. For example, Distant Learning. Then for next 5-10 min write whatever comes to your mind about the topic. Then pick then most interesting word or phrase from what you have just written, and start writing on the same for next 5-10 min. By doing this, for four to five times, you will get a topic on which you want to write or the topic of your interest.

It helps in developing a habit of writing.

If you will make it a habit of writing 5-10 min daily on any topic that comes to mind, it will help you develop your writing skills.

Free-writing helps the writer to easily write (after much practice) on any unplanned given topic.

2. Some Tips of Free-writing:

Write the ideas and thoughts that comes to your mind, without thinking if it is right thought or not.

Fix a time of your writing in a day.

Write at-least for half-an-hour or an hour daily.

Set a timer.

Do not stop. Write even if you are stuck at a word. Even if you are not able to get any thoughts related to the topic. Just keep your hands moving. (Natalie Goldberg).

While reading a book, if something inspires you or surprise you, write about it.

Start writing a review of a book that you've just read.

Write summary of each chapter.

Read the stanza from "Twelfth Song of Thunder."
djyliett [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is option C. that the beauty of nature resides even in the most unlikely places .

Explanation:

According to this stanza, the Navajo people saw beauty in everything around them.

As these lines say, beauty can be found in grasshoppers, in land, in plants.

Sometimes you can think that beauty is something aesthetic and is only seen in things that we see beautiful with the naked eye, but this was not the thinking of the Navajo people.
