Answer:

The interior of a cell membrane is hydrophobic. The correct letter is C.

Explanation:

The Cell Membrane is the boundary between the cell and its environment. It is a thin semipermeable membrane that surrounds the cytoplasm of a cell. It regulates what goes in and out of the cell.  It consists of a phospholipid double layer.

The polar portions of the phospholipids contact the aqueous solvent and their long hydrophobic portions lie within the membrane, away from water. For this reason that the interior of a cell membrane is hydrophobic and for this reason the correct assertive about this question is letter C. Hydrophobic.

babymother [125]
This type of water transition or change in phase of matter is known as FREEZING.

Water has molecules that are free flowing and have the ability to collide and bounce against each other, that's why it has that kind of characteristic that it takes the shape of its container.

When these molecules are exposed to lower or colder temperatures, the molecules tend to vibrate and get attracted towards each other, creating a semi-solid or completely solid material. In this example, liquid turned into frost because of the low temperature present within the environment.

Describe the structure of a neuron. Include the cell body, dendrites, and axon in your description. How does the structure of a
igomit [66]

Answer: A neuron has three main parts: dendrites, an axon, and a cell body or soma , which can be represented as the branches, roots and trunk of a tree, respectively. A dendrite (tree branch) is where a neuron receives input from other cells. Dendrites branch as they move towards their tips, just like tree branches do, and they even have leaf-like structures on them called spines.

The axon (tree roots) is the output structure of the neuron; when a neuron wants to talk to another neuron, it sends an electrical message called an action potential throughout the entire axon.

The features of neurons help them to carry out their function efficiently:

they have a long fibre (axon) so they can carry messages up and down the body over long distances

in a stimulated neuron, an electrical nerve impulse passes along the axon

the axon is insulated by a fatty (myelin) sheath - the fatty sheath increases the speed of the nerve impulses along the neuron

at each end of the neuron are tiny branches (dendrons), which branch even further into dendrites - the dendrites receive incoming nerve impulses from other neurons

Gelneren [198K]

In chromatin, substitution mutations are most common in linker regions. Option d is the correct answer.

Mutation by substitution When one nucleotide base is replaced by another, this occurs. Mismatch mutation A type of substitution mutation in which a single nucleotide is replaced, resulting in the coding of an incorrect amino acid, which usually results in a malfunctioning protein. Silent mutations are the result of genetic code redundancy (degeneracy): This is false, as silent mutations are the result of a base substitution that has no discernible effect on a protein's amino acid sequence.

german

Answer:

These efforts will decrease the amount of heat that the atmosphere traps.

Explanation:

Both Carbon dioxide and methane are considered to be green house gases.

However, green house gases are known to cause climatic changes by trapping or absorbing heat from the sun or in some other cases, produces large amount of heat through combustion, the result which can give rise to respiratory disease from smog and air pollution.

Hence, when Scientist tried to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere their efforts will decrease the amount of heat that the atmosphere traps.
