The segment of this graph that shows a decreasing velocity is the EF segment. AB and DE segments show that whatever was moving, in these segments was stopped. The segment BC shows an increase in velocity - the metres travelled were always more as the time went by. The segment CD shows that the velocity was constant during this period as the metres travelled were always constant as the time went by. EF is the segment that shows a decrease in velocity - at a certain point, the metres travelled started to be less for the same period of time - for example, from 80 to 90 secs, about 15 were travelled, while for the same amount of time, from 90 to 100 secs, only about 5 metres were travelled.

Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

93328 kg

Explanation:

\rho = Density of mud = 1900 kg/m³

Volume of the cuboid is given by

V=2300\times 750\times 1.4\\\Rightarrow V=2415000\ m^3

Volume is also given by

V=Al\\\Rightarrow l=\dfrac{V}{A}\\\Rightarrow l=\dfrac{2415000}{520\times 520}\\\Rightarrow l=8.9312\ m

The length of the cuboid is 0.89312 m

For the small volume

V_a=al\\\Rightarrow V_a=5.5\times 8.9312\\\Rightarrow V_a=49.12\ m^3

Mass is given by

m=\rho V_a\\\Rightarrow m=1900\times 49.12\\\Rightarrow m=93328\ kg

The mass of the mud is 93328 kg

Explain how your battery works. (You may want to look at the Electric Current lesson) What are some possible materials you could
Lisa [10]

Answer:

A battery is made up of three parts. The Cathode (positive end +) , the Anode (negative end -) and the electrolyte. The electrolyte allows electrical charges to travel between the cathode and anode. This chemical reactions creates the flow of electricity supplying the electrical voltage potential to power a circuit.

Typical materials of a battery are as follows

- Anode most often is made of zinc

- Manganese dioxide acting as Cathode.

- the electrolyte between and inside contains ions

A wheel rotating with a constant angular acceleration turns through 19 revolutions during a 3 s time interval. Its angular veloc
Elanso [62]

Answer:

- 14.5 rad/s^2

Explanation:

n = 19

θ = 2 x 3.14 x 19 = 119.32 rad

t = 3 s, ω = 18 rad /s , ω0 = ?,

Let α be the angular acceleration.

Use First equation of motion for rotational motion

ω = ω0 + α t

18 = ω0 + α x 3

ω0 = 18 - 3α .....(1)

Use second equation of motion for rotational motion

θ = ω0 t + 1/2 x α x t^2

Put the value of ω0 = 18 - 3α from equation (1)

119.32 = (18 - 3α) x 3 + 1/2 x α x 9

119.32 - 54 = - 4.5 α

α = - 14.5 rad/s^2
