Nixon initially wanted to help boost the US economy by cutting government spending.

Richard Nixon was the 37th president of the United States. He held the position from 1969 to 1974. He had previously served as the 36th vice president of the United States from 1953 to 1961, and prior to that as both a U.S. representative and senator from California.

His first purpose as president was to combat the worst recession since the Great Depression.  To achieve that, Reagan pledged to implement the "Reagan Revolution" which focused on reducing government spending, taxes, and regulation. His philosophy was "Government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem." Reagan upholded  laissez-faire economics.

The major priorities I will implement if I was an leader of a country that just recovered from work is national infrastructure.

National building can be a herculean task after a war.

National orientation and integration would be a great way to start. Creation of humanitarian ministries to bring about cohesiveness.

Education and infrastructural development is also very important.

Explain your views on religious and or racial intolerance today, in this country. Does it still exist? Is it better/worse now? W
Anna [14]
Not sure what time period of the past or what country this question pertains to, but here are some ideas for the U.S. today:

Today
Better examples: the 14th Amendment protects EVERYONE, and the U.S. law does not discriminate, many campaigns and groups are set to spread awareness about racial and religious topics.

Worse examples: some religious holidays such as Hanukkah are not recognized on a federal level, implicit bias can make it hard for some people to not stereotype others based on race alone.
