I hope this helps. George Washinton had to develop how to start with a knew country and not have the same difficulties that King Gorge the third had. They wanted to make sure that nobody had to much power. They also had to come up with the constitution and the Bill of Rights. John Adams in the other hand was the first Federalist ever elected for president. Thomas Jefferson sponsored the Lewis and Clark exposition to explore the Western territory.
