Answer:

Step one: Put into Linear eqaution

8x-11=13

Step2: Add 11 to both sides of equation

8x-11 <u>+</u> 11 = 13 <u>+</u> 11

=

8x = 24

Step 3: Dived 8 from both sides of the equation.

x=3

So are sum is

x=3

Put back into a inequity and we didn't deal with any negatives at the end so no need to flip the sign.

x<3

A circular test track for cars has a circumference of 2.7km . A car travels around the track from the southernmost point to the
Galina-37 [17]
This problem is about the difference between distance and displacement.
The distance is how many kilometers has the car covered, the displacement is how far from the original point is the car now, and does not depend on the path followed, but it is the shortest path that connects two points.

a) In this part, they ask you for the distance. From the southernmost to the northernmost point of the circumference, the car has traveled half of the circumference, therefore:
distance = circumference ÷ 2 = 2.7km ÷ 2 = 1.35km

b) In this part, you are asked for the displacement, which in this case is the diameter of the circumference:
displacement = diameter = circumference ÷ π = 2.7km ÷ 3.14 = 0.86km = 860m

FUNCTIONS?? I DUNNO WHAT THEY ARE BUT PLEASE ANSWER ATTACHED THINGY
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

Function 1: Not a function

Function 2: Function

Step-by-step explanation:

Functions are relations between two numbers, each ordered pair is associated with <em>only one</em> value from the second set of numbers.

So x can have the same values but y can only be used <em>once </em>per value.

So the first function uses each y twice meaning it is not a function, but function 2 uses each y only once so it is a function.
