Noa started at – 400 meters below sea level.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have , Noa drove from the Dead Sea up to Jerusalem, and her altitude increased at a constant rate of 740 meters per hour. When she arrived in Jerusalem after 1.5, point, 5 hours of driving, her altitude was 710 meters above sea level. We need to find the initial height from sea level . Let's find out:

Let N(t) be Noa’s altitude to sea level and time t .

N(t) = 740(t) + h . where h is initial height we need to find.

She was 710 meters above sea level after 1.5 hours. So,

⇒ N(1.5) = 740(1.5) + h

⇒ 740(1.5) + h = 710

⇒ 1,110 + h = 710

⇒ H = 710-1,110

⇒ h = - 400m

Therefore , Noa started at – 400 meters below sea level.

Answer:

(-65/23, 72/23)

Step-by-step explanation:

Easiest and fastest way to do this is to graph the systems of equation on a graphing calculator, then analyzing the graph to see where they intersect. The intersection point is your solution to the systems of equations.
