Answer:x=328
solution= (4x-16)^1/2=36
                squaring both sides we get
                 4x-16=1296
                     4x=1296+16
                       x=(1296+16)/4
                       x=328 .

Answer: x=328

Explanation

in the given equation \sqrt{4x-16} =36 we will first remove the square root from the equation in order to do the same

From squaring both sides we get

4x-16 = 36^{2}

4x -16 = 1296

After shifting 16 on Right hand side we will get the following

4x= 1296 + 16

after adding right hand side we will get the following

4x = 1312

4 will shift to the right hand side we will get the following result

x = \frac{1312}{4}

finally after division by 4 we will get the final value

x =328

Roshan makes the table below to describe how to draw a ray diagram for a convex lens.
VikaD [51]

Answer:

The ray that goes parallel to the main axis after passing through the lens should also be parallel from the object to the lens

Step-by-step explanation:

To form the image of an object using a convex lens, ray diagrams are used. The following steps are followed when drawing ray diagrams.

1) Light rays are drawn from the object incidented on the lens and parallel to the principal axis. The incident light refracts (bends) through the lens and converges at the focal point at the other side of the lens.

2) Another incident light passes through the optical centre undeflected and intersect with the refracted ray at the other side of the lens.

Based on the above points, Roshan made an error by drawing the ray that goes parallel to the main axis and after passing through the lens made the same ray to be parallel from the object to the lens instead of refracting (bending) after passing through the lens.

x + 2x + 6 = 27

3x + 6 = 27

x + 2 = 9

x = 9 - 2

x = 7

2 × 7 = 14

-2x < -6
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

x > 3

Step-by-step explanation:

This is based on the concept 'when a negative number is multiplied to both sides of the inequality, the sign gets reversed. For example, x > - 2 when it is multiplied by - 1, it becomes - x < 2.'

*only when the number is -ve.

Similarly, in this question, multiply both sides by - 1.

2x > 6

x > 6/2

x > 3

For more : take - 5 > - 2, as you know

Note that 5 is actually greater than 2. To make this true we change signs
