Answer: x=8

How: 41 the triangles are mirrored, so they have the same angles. You are trying to find the bottom angle of the top triangle, which is the same as the top angle of the bottom triangle since they are mirrored. So, (5x+1) is equal to 41. 41-1 =40. 40/5=8. Boom.

A population of insects grows exponentially. Initially, there were 20 insects and the population of the insects grew by 50% ever
SIZIF [17.4K]
The answer is 8069 insects

P(t) = A * e^(r*t)
P(t) - <span>the insect population at the end of t weeks.
A - the initial number of insects
r - the growth rate
t - number of weeks

P(t) = ?
A = 20
r = 50% = 0.5
t = 12 weeks

P(t) = </span>20 * e^(0.5*12)
P(t) = 20 *
P(t) = 20 * e^(0.5*12)
P(t) = 20 * 403.43
P(t) ≈ 8069 insects

Mumz [18]
You should buy 576 grams of cereal. I believe this is right because 32g x 18=576. But you might want me to work it different or something.

What is the correct solution to 1/2(x+18)=4(2x-6)-9x
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

x = 22

Step-by-step explanation:

I interpreted your problem as:

\frac{1}{2} (x+18) = 4(2x-6)-9x

I simplified the problem to:

\frac{1}{2} x+9 = 8x-24-9x

I combined like terms:

\frac{1}{2} x+9 = -x-24

I moved all x to one side and all other constants to the other:

\frac{3}{2} x = -33

I divided by 3/2 (1.5) on both sides to isolate x:

x = 22

Hope it helps! (:
