Energy in the form of ATP may be stored or used by the cell to drive cellular processes such as transport and growth.

-Cellular respiration takes place in three stages; namely; glycolysis, Krebs cycle and electron transport chain.

-The Krebs Cycle takes Citric Acid which is a derivative of Pyruvic Acid and converts this through 4 cycles into Hydrogen, carbon dioxide and water in the Mitochondrial Matrix.
