I need a thesis about how we would have not won the war without african americans im giving 100 points and brainliest. BTW this
inysia [295]

Explanation:

While slavery was the major issue separating the North and South, it was not slavery itself that sparked the conflict. The South wanted to secede from the Union, and the North refused. While President Abraham Lincoln personally opposed slavery, he recognized that it was legal under the U.S. Constitution at the time. He also recognized that few in the North were ready to go to war to free the slaves. For Lincoln and the northern majority, preservation of the Union was the foremost goal. African Americans are hard working and so they r built different so we could have never won the war with out African Americans and remember (BLM)

Describe the situational irony in “The Gift of the Magi”. How is this irony critical to the story’s theme?
Luba_88 [7]
The irony is both of them sold their most prized possessions to get the other a special christmas present, however both of their presents are designed for the prized possession each one sold.
This is critic as both characters realised that the other person would give up their prized possession for them to be happy. This is a key message sent by the author through this book. They are wise as they know that people should be more valued over possessions.

Which one is grammatically correct?
kherson [118]

Answer:

The correct answer is: I had a much better understanding of how they worked.

Explanation:

The correct answer is the second one, due to the verb tense consistency.

Verb tense consistency refers to keeping the same tense throughout a clause. If you use a past tense in a sentence, you must finish it in the same manner. When you use a certain tense you must be consistent throughout the sentence.

For example:

We watched the movie, and then we went to dinner.
