This story “Everyday Use” is written by Alice Walker. It is the story about Mama and her two daughters Dee and Maggie. Dee struggles to learn and fit in her African heritage, but it is difficult. Dee wants to have some quilts made by her ancestors , but Mama had promised them to Maggie.
