Answer: The principle of federalism has created a distinct roles for the federal and state government in the United State of America.

Explanation: federal can be referred to as a system of government in which governmental power are shared between a central government and the state government. The United state of America for example Power are shared between the state and central government as both possesses sovereignty.

Governmental Powers are separated between the two level of government as influence on each other are restricted. There roles are different , the functions expected from them are distinct.
