Tim is a goalie on the local men's soccer team. After a great game on Saturday, he weighs himself in the gym and is surprised to
see that he's lost 2 pounds during the game. It's a hot August day, so he knows he's lost that weight in water alone; he sweated a lot out there! He heads for the ice chest outside on the field to get something cold to drink. How much water should Tim drink to replenish the water he lost during the game?
Tim should drink from 3 to 5 litres of water a day due to the fact that temperatures are very high during the Summer and he has lost 2 pounds because of the game, so he is almost dehydrated.
