“Women of the Future” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, from Beyond the City. In the public domain.
marshall27 [118]

C. You must live up to your principles- you must give your daughters the same liberty as you advocate for other women.

Explanation:

 • The doctor said when Clara was twenty, her father did not object to her learning chemistry or playing instruments. She would have assumed that to be very cruel if he had objected.
 • When the father looked at Clara's dress, he thought it was torn and asked her about it. She said it was a divided skirt. Her father replied that her mother would not have liked that.
 • Finally, he says, seeing their mistakes, he had realized his mistake.

Balthasar and Gold Keynote templates are best for use in a professional environment. However, care must be taken when choosing slide templates, as the user may focus more on the details of the template than on the presentation.

What are the strong features of the Balthasar template?

 • It has a vast amount of editable graphics.
 • It has elegant and formal colors.
 • It has a clean and objective look.
 • It has a wide variety of visual features.

What are the strong features of the Gold Keynote template?

 • It has a highly standardized interface.
 • It presents great freedom of customization of resources.
 • It presents complementary and cohesive colors.
 • It has a wide range of visuals.
 • It presents a formal and sober look.

Both templates are very effective for a professional environment that requires sobriety and objective information. In this context, it is important that the user coherently uses the templates, not only focusing on the details and the use of visual resources but paying attention to the quality and objectivity of the presentation, using the template as a resource and not as the center of information.

20 points plz hurry

what happened at the end of the white heron write 4-5 sentences
lara [203]

Sylvia runs home with dollar signs in her eyes but realizes that she physically can't "tell the heron's secret and give its life away" (2.13). It's never explicitly stated why she does this, but we'd peg her obvious love of nature as Exhibit A and her intense experience atop the oak tree as Exhibit B (for more on this tree experience, check out the "Symbolism, Imagery, Allegory" section—there's more there than meets the eye).

Although Sylvia remains in the forest, she never forgets the hunter, nor is she ever quite sure that she's made the right choice. Although Sylvia is a proto-hippie country gal at heart, she knows that the hunter represented a very different path her life could've taken, and as the story ends, she still wonders where it might have taken her. It doesn't exactly reek of regret, but seems more like a sort of forlorn daydream about what might have been. But hey—we all do that sometimes.
