The correct answer is B) Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait.

The action that prompted the start of the Persian Gulf War was Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait.

The Middle East region has always been the center of many political, ideological, religious, and economic conflicts. The Persian Gulf War was another in a long story of armed conflicts. On August 2, 1990, Iraq leader Saddam Hussein ordered the invasion of Kuwait. United Nations Security Council reacted immediately ordering Hussein to leave Kuwait. But Hussein's troops stayed in Kuwait and President George H. W. Bush ordered operation "Desert Storm" that lasted 42 days to defeat Iraq.

How does FDR’s vision of the role of government compare with that of Hoover’s?
Elina [12.6K]

Hoover felt that government should take a very off-hands approach, and the government should be akin to a guide letting their leashed dog choose the path; however, FDR believed in a very hands on and big government approach, and he advocated for expanding the role of the government unlike Hoover.
