Answer:

There are many elements that make up who someone is, including:

  1. Religion
  2. Cultural belief
  3. Values and
  4. Skills and abilities
  5. Physical attribu

However, they varies from person to person.

Every single event in someone's life has an impact on their identity.

Explanation:

Let's take examples of two great religious leaders, Buddha and Jesus. What made Buddha different from the rest of us? Although born in a royal family, he decided to live a poor life but full of love and teach everyone about the impermanence in life. Is that because he saw the contrast between the life of a prince and the one of a poor person on street? In the other part of the globe, Jesus also dedicated his life for teaching about unconditional love. "Love even your enemies", said Jesus. Unlike Buddha, Jesus was born in poverty, but both shared the same values and those last up to now. What made up Jesus is something innate, something that God blew into his soul for him to spread God's messages.

2. Why do Tom and Nick stop in the Valley of Ashes on their way to the city? How does
lawyer [7]

Answer:

Tom and Nick stopped at the Valley of Ashes to met Myrtle Wilson, Tom's mistress.

Nick feels that he'd been forced to meet her and felt that Tom hadn't even told him beforehand or given him any choice to meet her.

Explanation:

F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel "The Great Gatsby" revolves around the story of Jay Gatsby and his lost American Dream. The novel also focuses on the themes of wealth, social class, love, appearance, and reality, etc. through the characters.

In Chapter 2, Nick recalls how Tom<em> "literally forced"</em> him to met Myrtle Wilson, his mistress. Tom felt that Tom's approach of his<em> "company (is) bordered on violence" </em>and that Tom had the<em> "supercilious assumption [...] that on Sunday afternoon I had nothing better to do."</em> This shows how Nick was unprepared and even maybe felt coerced to meet the woman, despite not expressing any desire to be acquainted with her.
