Answer:

Moods D. Function mostly to bias cognitions and what the person thinks about.

Explanation:

A mood is an emotional state; it's the sentimental tone an individual <em>attributes to an idea or situation</em>, which can be either <em>pleasant or unpleasant. </em>

As it is a state, it is a <em>way of being </em>for the individual which is maintained for a period of time and eventually fades, which can take hours or days, for example.

Emotions come and go but unlike them, one's mood is <em>bias to cognitions</em>, to the way an individual interprets his/her environment and what he/she thinks about.

Your reading above gets my article completely backwards. The research shows that women who work  outside the home have LOWER rates of depression than those who do not, even when we control for other factors, like pre-existing health problems that might make some women less likely to work. George is in the middle of a high stakes poker game when he notices what he thinks is cheating by another player. It appears to
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

If George is an utilitarian thinker he should focus on what the possible outcomes of the situation might be if it turns out the player wasn't cheating.

Explanation:

Utilitarianism is an ethical theory that determines right from wrong by focusing on outcomes. This theory says that the most ethical choice is the one that will produce the greatest good for the greatest number of people.

However, since we cannot predict the future, it is difficult to be certain of what the consequences of our actions will be.

In the example, if George is an utilitarian thinker, he will focus on outcomes. It <u>appeared to him that the other player took a card from his lap and switched it with a card that he was dealt,</u> however, <u>he cannot be sure</u> if the player is indeed cheating.

As an utilitarian thinker, George should focus on what the possible outcomes of the situation might be if it turns out the player wasn't cheating.

Three strategies parents can used to communicate with their children
BlackZzzverrR [31]
Hello there!

#1 Strategy

They could constantly ask them, their day, how they've been doing. And the thing's that they have been going through, either at school or other informal locations.

#2 Strategy

Another thing that can be used, you could perhaps give them a cell phone, to always be in touch with him/her and always be communicated.

#3 Strategy

Make sure that you are talking to them at a correct time. Don't give them a hard time as they are not feeling in a mood that is not pleasing. By you doing this, your communication would improve with your children.

I hope this helps you greatly!
