One astronomical method used that provided an insight about the universe is the LIGO (the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory). This method helps us detect gravitational waves emitted by astronomical bodies. The finding of gravitational waves will lead into understanding the behavior of other bodies that we did not know exist. The consequences are; one, we can measure the activity between two bodies in orbit in the universe, two, scientist can estimate the merging of two bodies in the universe every 15 minutes by using.

One scientist did an experiment with a meter stick and pencil. The steps of the experiment are listed below. Hold a meter stick
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

Parallax would be most effective in measuring distances to stars which are close to the Earth.

Explanation:

In the experiment,

  • The parallax shift would decrease as the pencil would move further away from the scientist's eye, so option 1 would be invalid.
  • the size of the pencil remains constant, so option 2 would be invalid.
  • the parallax shift can be observed when the pencil has objects in the background to provide relation, that is to say, the shift of the pencil when seen relative to background objects; therefore, if we assume that the pencil is a star nearby to the Earth, and the background objects are stars that are further away, then the shift of, and thus, distance to the nearby star can be easily observed.

In which of the following places would you most likely experience the greatest level of political security? A. a multinational s
Fittoniya [83]
You would definitely not expect political stability in a state that is being annexed or which does not have a territory - rather the opposite would be true.

Both multinational and souvereign states can have a high lever of political security. However, in a multinational state one can also expect some conflicts between the different ethnic groups - therefore the best answer is "a sovereign state"

Rainbow [258]
By rename do you mean turn into an improper fraction?
if so, it is because without turning it into an improper fraction, you cannot subtract 3/4 from 1/4 because you would get a negative answer and that would be incorrect
