Answer:

The correct answer would be the third option.

Enzyme refers to the biocatalyst which accelerates the rate of biochemical reactions without getting consumed in it.

They help in attaining the equilibrium at faster rates.

They do so by lowering the activation energy of the chemical reaction.

In absence of enzymes, the biochemical reactions would not take place at enough fast rates which are essential for the maintenance of life.

For example, in absence of enzymes rates of cellular respiration would not able to meet the energy demands of the cell.

Another example may include the absence of lactase makes the person lactose intolerant.

Why are methane hydrates so difficult to extract from the seafloor?
AlexFokin [52]

The warmer the water, the larger the water depths must be to form the hydrate. Deep inside he sea floor, however, the temperature is too high for the formation of methane hydrates because of the Earth's internal heat. Oxidation Many bacteria use methane to provide energy for their metabolism.

What problem is solved by the linnaean system of classification
MissTica

Due to the linneaus system of classification scientist were able to identify  organism name , group via standardized system . They have found similarities  in the organism  like DNA / RNA ( genetic composition), embryonic development  etc . so that they can study a organism completely . With the help of this system of classification  scientist were able to give a particular name to a organism which is standardrized in the whole universe. It makes easier to all to identify an organism , otherwise different places have different name for a particular species.
