Suppose you have some wolves and some dogs. Dogs are named and wolves are not. If you call a dog it will run to you. A wolf woul

d not. So, if you take care of a dog, then (in our pretend situation) you can let it run free. A wolf has to be caged all the time. Any pair of animals can fight, so you need to separate them. On a plane with one line you can place two dogs (one dog in each of the regions): they will not fight as they will be separated by a line, and they will run free. How many dogs and how many wolves can you place on a plane with three lines in general position?

Answer:

4dogs and no wolves

Step-by-step explanation:

when a dog is taken care of (Trained) it could be let to run free in a definite region.

On a plane with one line we can place two dogs (one dog in each of the regions) and they will not fight as they will be separated by a line, and they will run free.

If we place three lines in general, then we would have four regions where 4 dogs can run free as they are separated by a line so as not to fight.

But for Wolves from the question it is deduced that:  A wolf has to be caged all the time and no matter how well you train a wolve, it wont yield to instructions.

With these two, wolves wont be allowed on the plane at all.

Johnnas reading rate is 150 words per minute she is reading a 364 page book that has about 275 words on each page at this rate w
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

11 hrs 1 min (i think so based on math)

Step-by-step explanation:

If Johnna's reading rate is 150 words per min and there are 364 pages with about 275 words, you need to multiply 364 and 275 to get 100100 and divide that by 150 to get 667.3333333 round to the nearest tenth which will give you 667.3 and divide that by 60 because there are 60 minutes in an hour to get 11.12222222 and round that to the nearest tenth to get 11.1 which means it will take Johnna 11 hours and 1 minute to read the book.  I hope this is correct I'm really sorry if it isn't. :P
