The perimeter of an object is all of its sides added up. So it gives you the length and widths of the shape.
A. X + 4 + X + X + 4 + X = 34. But we can simply that even further. To 4X + 8 = 34

B. So solve that you would first Subtract 8 from each side. You then get 4x = 26
X = 13/2
13/2 is your answer. You can simplify this to 7.5 but ask your teacher if you can leave it as 13/2 because it will save you a lot of time on a test.

Tyler is 9 years old his sister Olivia is 6 years less than twice his age writ a numerical expression for Olivia’s age
liberstina [14]
Hello there!

The following will show you

T = tyler

O = olivia

O = 2t - 6

when you include numbers, it is represented by:

O = (2 * 9) - 6

Now, let's solve this to find out just how old Olivia is.

2 * 9 = 18

18 - 6 = 12

Olivia is 12

This means that olivia is 3 years older than tyler

I hope I helped!

What is the probability of tossing a coin three times and getting heads<br> each time? *
Serggg [28]

Answer:

probability of tossing a coin 3 times and getting heads each time is 1/8

Step-by-step explanation:

A coin has 2 sides (heads and tails) therefore you have a 50% chance of getting either heads or tails for each toss. Therefore, the probability of getting heads for 1 toss is 1/2. Now, tossing it 3 times and getting heads each time essentially means you would have to do (1/2)×(1/2)×(1/2) which would give you 1/8 as the probability of tossing a coin 3 times and getting heads each time.
