Baby bloomers are the people who came back and survived both of the World Wars and the Cold War. Once they came back, a lot of marriages started taking place and babies were born. They caused economic growth because veterans were able to use the GI bill to their advantage and go to college to get a better job, and were able to financially support their family.

Kazeer [188]

The theory of Cultural transmission was used by Edwin Sutherland to emphasize that criminal behavior is learned through social interactions with others.

What is the theory of cultural transmission?

 • According to cultural transmission theory, often known as socialization, all conduct is learned from the society or culture around a person.
 • These actions might be either prosocial or antisocial.
 • For example, some festivals or lifestyle patterns can be passed down through generations and friends.
 • One example of cultural transmission is holiday decorations.
 • Experiential learning is another approach for people to learn about the culture.
 • People learn through immersing themselves in the culture and commenting on hands-on experiences.

Real power in the senate is in the hands of the:_____.
boyakko [2]

Real power in the senate is in the hands of the Majority leader

The Vice President of the United States is the official Senate President, and when the Vice President is not present, the President pro tempore assumes that role. But in practice, unless a tied vote is anticipated, the Vice President hardly ever enters the Senate, much less actually preside over the body, and the President pro tempore has devolved into a ceremonial position devoid of any real authority.

In accordance with Senate rules, the Presiding Officer of the day gives the Majority Leader priority in obtaining recognition to speak on the Senate floor and they decide which senators will be allowed to speak. This is because the Majority Leader is seen as the de facto leader of the Senate, especially in modern times.
